3i3Signature LLC The first day of hashtagSpaceSummitMiami2026 has just concluded, and I would like to share a few immediate reflections.
🔹 Acknowledgements
My sincere thanks to the organizers of Space Summit Miami 2026 ( SmallSat Alliance U.S. Chamber of Commerce for the quality of the event, the clarity of the agenda, and the excellence of the overall execution.Creating such an international forum for dialogue around space is more important than ever.
🔹 Quality of speakers and content
This first day was marked by an exceptionally high level of speakers : Like Marcia Holmes – Tim Trimailo or Stephen Kitay, from both the public and private sectors, as well as by content that was practical, concrete, and solution-oriented. Discussions clearly demonstrated the maturity of the topics addressed: governance, security, innovation, commercialization, and the integration of startups into the space value chain.
🔹 My perspective after Day 1
I am particularly impressed by the current approach to U.S. space governance. Several elements stand out:
A clear and ambitious vision, combined with strong execution capabilities
Diversity at strategic leadership levels, where competence and responsibility naturally come first. An open and pragmatic use of the term “commercial”, fully recognized as a key driver of civil space activities. A strong commitment to protecting national interests while contributing to stability and peace through space technologies. A welcoming and pragmatic attitude toward space startups, guided by a simple principle: best in class, effectiveness, and impact — even when solutions are still maturing. The overall mindset is clearly focused on problem-solving, speed of execution, and measurable outcomes.. I strongly encourage European space CNES European Space Agency – ESA hashtagEuropeanCommission French Air Force hashtagFrenchSpaceCommand stakeholders to come and see this dynamic firsthand here in the United States.
