SPIRIT OF NEW SPACE
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
My passion for space began on July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong stepped onto the Moon. Those black-and-white images have stayed with me ever since.
As a telecommunications engineer and airplane pilot, I built my career across aerospace, defense, and telecommunications, gaining more than 30 years of experience with leading international companies.
My work in telecommunications included Alcatel, Nortel Telecom, and IBM. I later developed expertise in satellite applications through my work with SES, Eutelsat, and E-Space.
In 2005, I founded 3i3S, the International Independent Institute for Space and Satellite Solutions, to bring people together around the practical benefits of space technology. Its mission centers on education, professional networking, and humanitarian applications, with connections to the arts.
Along the way, I have met and exchanged ideas with industry pioneers, including Elon Musk and Greg Wyler.
I founded 3i3Signature LLC to turn that experience into practical support for companies shaping the future of space—and to share that passion through aerospace experiences and a space-inspired brand.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Philippe Boissat
Founder & CEO, 3i3Signature LLC
Philippe brings extensive international experience in aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and satellite applications.
A telecommunications engineer, airplane pilot, and former French Air Force officer, he has worked across consulting, software, and systems integration, helping teams navigate complex technical and business environments.
His career has taken him to Canada with Nortel Telecom, Germany with T-Systems, Luxembourg and Spain with SES, the United States with Deloitte, and France and Europe with IBM, Thales, Eutelsat, and E-Space.
In leadership roles at SES and Eutelsat, he helped introduce satellite internet services in France and Europe in 2001.
In 2005, he founded 3i3S, a nonprofit organization dedicated to education, professional networking, and humanitarian applications of space technology.
He also serves as an aerospace and defense mentor with France Mentor, the Institut Français du Mentorat, sharing his experience and supporting the professional development of others in the industry.
A recipient of France’s Médaille de l’Aéronautique, Philippe combines engineering expertise, business experience, and a longstanding commitment to the aerospace community.
